WordPress Web Development
WordPress has, and remains a leading CMS for developing customizable websites at speed. WordPress is a great tool that can be used for a wide range of websites, but does have some limitations. Due to the nature of WordPress, the more complex a website becomes, the more ‘widgets’ a website generally needs which can lead to performance issues that harm key performance metrics such as page speed, bounce rate and others.
Due to these constraints, I generally only opt for WordPress when it is either requested by a client, or I am confident the final product will stand up to key metrics.
Over the past 5+ years, I have created multiple WordPress websites, ranging from eCommerce platforms to personal portfolio websites.
